Seats on your plan

How Prevarro counts the seats on your plan, how adding or removing people changes your bill, and how to add storage.

This article is being updated.

Your plan is billed by seat, but you never buy or remove seats by hand. Seats follow the people in your business: inviting and deactivating users is how you manage them.

Who counts as a billable seat

A person is a billable seat when they are an active user in your business and have accepted their invitation.

See your seats

Go to Settings → Plan & Billing. On the Current plan card, the Seats tile shows how many billable seats your business has. It also shows the price of each additional seat, and how many you're billed for once you have any.

How changes reach your bill

Seats sync automatically with your active users.

During your free trial, no seats are charged. Your first bill after the trial counts the seats you have then.

Add or remove people

Go to Settings → Users:

You see Users in Settings only if your role lets you manage the team.

Add storage

Your plan includes a set amount of file storage. Settings → Storage & Usage shows how much you've used on its Storage tab, in the Storage usage card.

If your plan offers a storage add-on, the Owner can buy more storage in blocks once a card is on file:

  1. Go to Settings → Storage & Usage.
  2. On the Storage usage card, select Add storage.
  3. The confirmation names the size of a block and its price. Select Add with the block's size (for example Add 5 GB) to confirm.

The Add storage button opens once half of your storage is used. Prevarro may ask you to confirm with your second sign-in factor.

During your free trial a block is free, and it's charged from your first paid month. Once your plan is running, the block's price is added to your monthly bill, and the rest of the current billing period is charged pro rata.

Your blocks then show on the Storage add-on tile of the Current plan card in Plan & Billing, with the price of each.

To remove one, select Remove a block on the Storage usage card and confirm. During your free trial it comes off straight away. Once your plan is running, it comes off at the end of the current billing period. You can't remove a block while your files wouldn't fit in the storage left.
